Description

Some people wear flowers quietly. VIVIENNE is not for them.

A painterly floral on steel teal — peonies and magnolias in blush, cream, amber and warm white, rendered with an impressionist looseness that makes the whole jacket feel like it is mid-bloom. The flowers are large and intertwined. The leaves are lush. The effect on an oversized bomber silhouette is simply monumental.

This fabric was a curtain filtering light through a European window. Then it came to Kantamanto market in Accra. Then our tailors in Aburi, Ghana made it into VIVIENNE.

Black ribbed collar, black ribbed cuffs, black ribbed hem band. Centre zip. Two welt pockets.

VIVIENNE is named for someone who knows that beauty is a serious thing. Wear flowers the way Frida wore flowers — boldly, as a statement of self.

The fabric of VIVIENNE is a deeply romantic textile: a steel blue-teal background covered in large, painterly peonies and magnolias in blush pink, cream, amber and warm white. The flowers are rendered with an almost impressionist looseness — petals caught mid-bloom, leaves tangled generously. This was a curtain that filtered light through a European window. At Kantamanto market in Accra, it was waiting to become something worn.
